Tools of a fundamental life.

When life throws you lemons , make lemonade.  Its all in knowing what to do with the ingredients.  So here is my recipe for the fundamentals of a happy life.

1. Create a Vision Board - Vision Boards allow us to visualize a version of ourselves that we want to be, not only of how we want our life to be.  Vision boards helps us to see our purpose.
2. Take time for you - Its to easy to get swept up in other peoples story of who you are. Taking time for you is about reconnecting with who you are, who you want to be and where you want to go in your life. If you are constantly listening to someone else opinion of what you should or shouldn't be doing you will never know what you truly want. Go have your nails done, swim in the sea. It doesn't really matter what it is as long as its by yourself so you have some time to contemplate.
3.  Exercise. - And no it doesn't have to be yoga. Exercise is about reconnecting with your physical body. We are physical beings that live in a physical world. Reconnecting to our bodies, activates our root chakra and allows us to connect to the earth. Contrary to popular belief grounding energy is what helps us manifest and is actually a good thing! Being up with the fairies meditating has its place and while its can be hard coming back to reality after meditation , there is no quicker way to manifest those ideas into reality than grounding exercise.
4. Spend time in Nature- we are all naturally drawn to different elements of nature depending on what our requirements are. Water soothes some people, others are more drawn to the Forest of green , the Wind (represents Air) can be soothing to for some, yet annoying to others.  Find what your soul seeks, no matter if others don't get it.  Sitting by the fire rejuvenates can rejuvenate more than a swim in the ocean.  Find your cocktail
5. Breathe - breathe is the most important thing in life.  Take note of your breathing and you will automatically change it.  When we are stressed we take short shallow breathes and put our bodies in a holding pattern of energy, rather than creating flow.  Holding patterns is what creates those aches and pains in the body.
6. Take time to Meditate.  It doesn't matter for how long, what matters is how often.  Mediation brings us back to our center , its our reset button.  5 min every day is better than 30 min once a week. But either is better than none at all. It also doesn't matter what type of meditation practice your follow.  Try different ones till you find ones that works for you.
7. Eat right. Its not only about health here but also about the energy we put into our bodies. Highly processed foods don't have a higher energy vibration.  Even when made from some healthy ingredients,  the processing of foods causes them to loose their energy and as a result we eat more as we try to fuel our bodies.
